⚙️ Key Activities:
  • Company Submission: Internal departments submit detailed problem statements, context, and potential datasets/APIs.
  • Team Registration: The official registration window opens. Candidate teams select a vetted problem statement and provide complete member information.

Output: A finalized list of approved problem statements and a pool of provisionally registered teams.

Phase 2: Selection & Kick-off

Phase: Alignment

🎯 Goal:

To finalize the competition roster and ensure every team is aligned with their company mentor and understands the scope of work.

⚙️ Key Activities:
  • Final Selection: The committee reviews registrations to balance tracks and capacity, sending formal acceptance letters.
  • Mandatory Kick-off Meeting: All selected teams meet their assigned mentor, receive access credentials (APIs, keys), and review milestones and deliverables.

Output: Finalized competition teams, mentor-team pairings, and technical resource access granted.

💻

Phase 3: Development & Mentorship

Phase: Execution

🎯 Goal:

To develop a fully functional solution or prototype that directly addresses the chosen problem statement.

⚙️ Key Activities:
  • Remote Development: Teams work autonomously, managing their code sprints and technical challenges.
  • Bi-weekly Mentor Check-ins: Mandatory virtual meetings where teams demonstrate progress, receive feedback, and address blockers with their mentor.
  • Project Submission: Soft deadline for teams to submit their completed code repository and a brief summary video.

Output: A complete, functional project prototype (code, documentation, and a demo video).

🏆

Phase 4: Review & Integration

Phase: Showcase

🎯 Goal:

To conduct a fair evaluation of the completed projects and establish a clear path for integrating successful solutions into the company's roadmap.

⚙️ Key Activities:
  • Internal QA: Technical judges perform a preliminary review of submitted code and functionality.
  • The "Hackathon" Finals: The live event where finalist teams present their working solutions to a panel of executive judges in a rapid-fire presentation and Q&A.
